‘Anything but a backpack’ day is one of the newest trends for Spirit Week. This is when kids bring their school stuff in anything but their backpacks. For fun ideas for Anything But a Backpack that your child can do during spirit week, check out this list.
In those days, all you had to do to show school spirit was wear 12 shirts, 4 pairs of trousers and as many items that didn’t go with anything else. These days, kids compete with each other to see who can come up with the craziest and most original bookbag options.
What Does “Anything but a Backpack Day” Mean?
Most people follow these general rules on “Anything but a Backpack Day,” but there are no hard and fast rules.
At first, you shouldn’t bring a rucksack, as the name suggests. You can bring almost anything, as long as it’s not a rucksack. Tote bags, purses, suitcases, and duffle bags are all popular things that people bring.
In the second place, make sure that the bag you bring can hold all of your school goods. So, if you have a lot of things to carry, you might not want to bring something too small.
Third, make an effort to be unique with what you bring. Feel free to have fun with this chance to show off your own style.
Finally, don’t forget that ‘Anything but a Backpack Day’ is a fun day! Take it easy and have fun.
